William Reed majored in fine arts at Portland State University
specializing in clay and stone sculpture under the tutlage of
Fredrick Littman and James Hansen.
He worked as a professional stone sculptor in Montreal and
moved to Italy in 1979 after participating in the 3rd International
Sculpture Symposium in Carrara.
